Objectives

The participant:

• Has knowledge about the basics of test automation with ECU-TEST.
• Knows how new test cases can be created quickly and efficiently using a systematic approach.
• Can identify the importance of a generic description of test cases for a high degree of reusability.

• Basics of test automation and the ECU-TEST software.
• Presenting the functional scope, connection options and interfaces.
• Methodology and workflow.
• User interface and components of ECU-TEST.
• Describing generic and modular tests.
• Creating a test configuration and an example test case-Creating infrastructure-independent test cases; creating a test bench configuration.
• Infrastructure-independent test case creation; creation of a testbench configuration.
• Completing a test case.
• Evaluating a generated report document.

Target Group

• Tester (according to test management E/E: Tester low, tester high, test engineer, test in charge).
• Function developer.

Good to know

• Basic skills regarding software development process are required.
• Basic skills in the topic area of test & validation are advantageous.
• Prior knowledge is checked on the participant's own responsibility.
