Objectives
The participant:
- Has knowledge about the basics of test automation with ECU-TEST.
- Knows how new test cases can be created quickly and efficiently using a systematic approach.
- Can identify the importance of a generic description of test cases for a high degree of reusability.
Content
- Basics of test automation and the ECU-TEST software.
- Presenting the functional scope, connection options and interfaces.
- Methodology and workflow.
- User interface and components of ECU-TEST.
- Describing generic and modular tests.
- Creating a test configuration and an example test case-Creating infrastructure-independent test cases; creating a test bench configuration.
- Infrastructure-independent test case creation; creation of a testbench configuration.
- Completing a test case.
- Evaluating a generated report document.
Target Group
- Tester (according to test management E/E: Tester low, tester high, test engineer, test in charge).
- Function developer.
Good to know
- Basic skills regarding software development process are required.
- Basic skills in the topic area of test & validation are advantageous.
