Objectives
The participant:
- Gets a basic insight into requirements management.
- Is trained to create and edit requirements in DOORS, with the aim of being able to create any requirement document in a dedicated work area (AM-AU = requirements management work environment) in DOORS.
- Learn how to use DOORS efficiently and the resulting benefits.
- Learn how to navigate existing DOORS structures and also make changes there.
Content
- Brief overview of requirements management with DOORS and on formulating text-based requirements.
- DOORS information model with all components relevant for the user (projects, folders, modules, objects, links, etc.).
- Generating, deleting and amending content.
- Needs-based display of content (columns, views, filters, etc.).
- Adding attributes and types.
- Linking requirements and analyzing linked requirements.
- Standard import and export functions in DOORS.
- Generating reference states for module content in the form of baselines.
- Not part of the training: Generating requirements specifications from DOORS.

- Suppliers who process and check requirements in DOORS.
