Objectives

The participant:

• Learns all topics relevant for the proof of expert knowledge are handled practically. For example, the refrigeration circuit and the components of a refrigeration system in a motor vehicle air conditioning system are explained.
• Gets to know service and maintenance work with troubleshooting on the vehicle, which is carried out in a practical manner, and the necessary equipment and tools.
• Gets the new regulations/directives at the European level as well as the waste legislation in Germany explained.

  • Introduction to environmental impacts.
  • European and national regulationsRegulation (EC) No. 842/2006 + Regulation (EC) No. 307/2008 Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance.
  • Physical basics: structure and function of the vehicle air conditioning system.
  • Repair and maintenance work on the vehicle air conditioning system.
  • Setup of air conditioning system service equipment.
  • Environmentally friendly recycling of refrigerant.
  • Future vehicle air conditioning system technology (CO2 air conditioning systems).
