Objectives
The participant:
- Gets theoretical understanding of the entire E-SYS function scope and the underlying concepts.
- Gain in-depth knowledge through practical examples of a test setup.
- Can independently identify and fix standard error situations in E-Sys.
Content
This seminar will cover the concepts and methods of the following E-SYS modules/functions:- TAL generation and parallel TAL processing on a multi-device setup/complete vehicle.
- Coding and FDL coding (changing individual coding values).
- Master security module/transport key list update (MSM-/TSL update).
- Vehicle Configuration Management (VCM).
- Sweeping technologies/activation codes (SWT/FSC).
- HDD update.
- Individual data recovery (IDR).
- (Combined) bootloader update (BLUP/FLUP).
- Demonstration of selected scopes on a controller set up. In addition, the following themes/concepts will be briefly discussed:
- Batch mode.
- Use of flash data and information in SWLCockpit.
Target Group
- Partners of the E/E process chain who use E-SYS in the environment of ECU development and system integration (subsystem station/complete vehicle) and whose tasks in this context go beyond the programming and FA coding of individual ECUs (e.g. parallel progr).
Good to Know
- The participants should already be familiar with the basic terminology and the basic data formats of vehicle programming (SWE, SVK, SVT, TAL, FA, PDX container) as well as the basic functionalities of E-Sys (container import, TAL-processing).
- Ideally, the participants should already have completed the training "Introduction to the vehicle programming from L6 (E-Sys) onwards". Knowledge of the BMW requirement specification documents for vehicle programming from L6 onwards, the diagnosis protocol.
