Objectives

The participant:

• Will get a general overview of the new technology and how Ethernet affects the practice of vehicle development, protection, and programming at BMW and thus forms the basis for any networking in the vehicle.
• Will NOT be specifically prepared for trace analysis activities.

  • OABR.
  • Ethernet Mac Layer.
  • TCP/IP Stack.
  • SOME/IP, SOME/IP-SD.
  • UDP-NM.
  • HSFZ.

Target Group

• All those who need "Ethernet as the basis for networking in the vehicle" for their work.
