(BIS_01_08330)

24 hours
Multiple Dates
Multiple Locations
German

Objectives

The participant:

  • Can work independently and carry out non-standard activities and conceptual changes to the gas-leading/H2 system (vehicle, test bench, component), such as:
    • Approval of concepts and systems.
    • Planning and creating concepts and conceptual changes (to the gas system).
    • Create tests and documentation of non-standard construction/conversion work instructions, approve them and carry out risk assessments.
    • Set teaching activities and standards.
    • All Level 1 activities (e-Learning H2, No: 90291), Level 2 (No: 07073) and Level 3 (No: 07268).
    • Has in-depth knowledge and experience in handling hydrogen and is able to identify and assess risks and derive appropriate protective measures.
    • Knows and understands the applicable standards and regulations when dealing with gas systems/systems and can apply them.
    • Has the expertise to approve concepts and systems in accordance with H2 safety-related criteria, to define activities and standards and to pass them on in the form of instructions.

Content

  • The following themes are dealt with and consolidated through interactive exercises and practical examples.
  • Experience with hydrogen systems: typical faults and damage to the H2 or gas systems, crash/fire tests.
  • Exercise on the safety concept.
  • Creating a technical safety concept for an H2 gas system taking into account possible hazards and safety measures (mechanical, pressurized technology, electrical, organizational, interdependencies).
  • Interdependencies between hydrogen vehicles and filling stations based on SAE 2601 J.
  • Safe assembly (welding and non-destructive testing).
  • Basic knowledge on the pressure equipment guidelines (DGR), practical exercise on handling and examples for classification.
  • Basic knowledge on the German Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), practical exercise and examples of the testing obligations of the provision planner and licensed inspection body (in connection with DGR).
  • Basic knowledge on the German Technical Rules for Industrial Safety (TRBS) and practical knowledge of TRBS 1111 (hazard assessments) based on an example and TRBS 1203 (qualified person).
  • Overview of the regulations for hydrogen vehicles (79/2009/EG, 406/2010, StVZO § 41a, ECE 110).
  • Learning about 79/2009/EG and 406/2010 and the procedure for a type approval based on practice.
  • Basic knowledge on legal standards.

Target Group

  • Partner (e.g. from planning, development, construction, testing, trial/test stands, workshop) who in future will carry out non-standardized activities and conceptual changes to the hydrogen (-carrying) system of vehicles, test stands, components on their own responsibility.
