Objectives

The participant:

• Understands the context and the functions of PRISMA CARISMA in CATIA and in Structure Manager.
• Will become capable of managing his drawings with PRISMA and PDM WebDesktop.

Content

• Introduction and infrastructure of PRISMA CARISMA in CATIA V5.
• Functions and application of PRISMA CARISMA (Container, Performance, Structure Navigator).
• Dealing with linked models.
• Working Correctly with the Structure Navigator.
• Data management of documents and structures (5P, ST, 5B, 5H, AS).
• Neighborhood Search in the Product Structure Navigator (PSN).
• Saving and analyzing bounding boxes.
• Handling position information (Trafo).
• Structure comparison in PRISMA CARISMA.
• Saving CGR data to PRISMA.
• Creating worklists (project work, ITMS, export).
• Basics of the Structure Manager (STM).
• Drawing management and installation (incl. AS).
• Correct filling of the BMW drawing header.
• CATIA sheet numbering.

Target Group

• Design engineers and users who need to read and interpret CATIA data.

Prerequisites

• For the training, a PRISMA user with the approval for the respective vehicle project is required.
• Furthermore, access to the partner portal (B2B) and WebDesktop is required. For external suppliers, the access to the B2B portal and PDM WebDesktop is commissioned via the master administrator of the respective company.
• Project rights in PRISMA can be commissioned via the internal contact person or directly in PRISMA. You will not get these roles at the Partner Academy.
