Objectives

The participant:

• Knows the additional functions and requirements, which are necessary for the 3D master-compliant detailed design of wiring harnesses in CATIA and can use or implement them productively.

Content

• Overview of the development process with 3D-Master.
• Adjustment of inventory models with CATIA on-board tools.
• Ensuring electrically consistent modeling, e.g. with Q-Checker.
• Enhancement of CATIA models with 3D master-specific content using the KBB tools in the ACE Toolbox.
• Verification of modeling in the product life cycle.
• Provision of data for subsequent processes.

Target Group

• Wiring harness developer (geometry).

Recommendation:

• Attention: Please note that the training is divided into two days two times 5 hours.
• CATIA V5 Advanced for Geometric Wiring Harness Engineering (BIS_01_06550) or suitable knowledge and skills.
