Objectives

The participant:

• Get quick familiarization with Carmen 3.0.
• Get an overview of all components.
• Learn typical application scenarios.

Content

• Familiarization with practical examples:
  • Working with the topology editor TopEd.
  • Linking of modules with individual configurations.
  • Databases for decoding of messages.
  • Trace analysis using the analyzer and the associated filter functionality.
  • Other components like diagram display or on-board electrical system view.
  • Modules: Analyzer, on-board electrical system view, diagram display, script editor.

Target Group

• Partner who have not yet gained any experience with Carmen software. It is a basic training course for beginners, where the basic operating philosophies of Carmen are presented and simple application examples are given.

Good to Know

Recommendation:

• Basic understanding of bus communication, integration levels and vehicle development.Please bring your laptop with installed Carmen and Python 2.7.9 (32 Bit) to the seminar.
