• Obtains an introductory overview of vehicle coding at BMW and the associated processes.

Content

• Overview and fundamentals of:
  • Parameterization of vehicle functions.
  • Requirements for controllers with regard to coding capability.
  • Connection between BMW production logistics, SALAPA, type features and vehicle order.
  • Coding data description format (Coding Application File CAF).
  • Coding data tools.
  • Coding data processes in software logistics.
  • Coding in the application areas of production, service and development.

Target Group

• You know the E/E ptrocess chain (processes, process partners, challenges).

Good to Know

• Participants will be appointed by the product line.
