Objectives

The Participant:

• Learn the basics of cyber security.
• Can assess the current cyber security threat situation.
• Know the basic challenges and terminology, where to get help and more information, and the basics for future cyber security modules and deep dives.

Content

• You may think cyber security only concerns cyber security experts? Far from it: Every single BMW Group employee is responsible for the BMW Group's cyber security. Whether you function as an effective protective shield or as a potential security risk - it is your daily behavior that will decide.
• The web-based training is embedded in the following fictitious story: The hacker syndicate "CFraud" has tried to carry out a cyber-attack against the BMW Group. Although damage has been averted, the group has been launching new attacks ever since. As a result, the BMW Group hired Mr_X for support. If you pass his web-based training, you will join his team in the fight against criminal hackers helping to keep the BMW Group safe from harm.

Technical prerequisites:

• Before registration, please ensure that your system meets the following requirements:
  • BMW Group Enterprise Client with Windows 7 or 10.
  • Resolution at least 1600 x 900.
  • Google Chrome (JavaScript activated, Cookies allowed, Popups allowed).
  • Please note that Internet Explorer 11 can cause playback problems in some cases. Therefore, the usage of Google Chrome is recommended.
