• Know how attacks can work and get an insight on how to protect yourself from such attacks.

Content

• You might think that cyber security only concerns cybersecurity experts? Far from it: Every single BMW employee is responsible for the BMW Group's cyber security. Whether you act as an effective shield or as a potential security risk — that is solely decided by your daily behavior.
• The WBT is embedded in the following fictional story: The hacker syndicate cFraud tried to carry out a cyber attack against the BMW Group. Although damage was averted, the group has been launching new attacks ever since. That is why the BMW Group has hired the brilliant hacker Mr. X to help. If you pass his web-based training, he will join the team that will fight with him against criminal hackers and protect the BMW Group from damage.
• After completing the training, you will have an overview of the following topics:
  • Social engineering methods.
  • Know how to protect yourself from hacking attacks in your daily working life.
  • In-depth information about the phases of an attack.
  • Discovered attacks involving manipulated USB devices.
  • Know what a watering hole attack, a drive-by download is and what role Punycode can play in attacks.

• All partners of the BMW Group IT.

Good to Know

Technical prerequisites:

• Before registration, please ensure that your system meets the following requirements:
  • BMW Group Enterprise Client with Windows 7 or 10.
  • Resolution at least 1600 x 900.
  • Google Chrome (Javascript activated, Cookies allowed, Popups allowed).
  • Please note that Internet Explorer 11 can cause playback problems in some cases. Therefore the usage of Google Chrome is recommended.
