Objectives

The participant:

• Knows the objectives of release-driven change management (RAM).
• Understands the user interface of the new iRAM application and some basic operations.
• Learns the approval process for the iRAM application.
• Knows the contact for further on-the-job training to create a change context in the production system.

Content

• Big picture of the release-controlled change management system (RAM) from iPDM and the central application iRAM.
• Introduction of the iRAM application, user interface and most common use cases.
• The approval process for the iRAM application.
• Admission to the on-the-job training for measure administrators (MNVs). Participants are eligible to participate in the on-the-job training.

Target Group

• Partner in the area: SE/BE Teamleader.

Good to know

Recommendation:

• The iPDM basic training course #11245 has been completed in advance.
• You are familiar with creating and controlling change requests in gAMS.
• Please ensure that your system fulfils the following requirements before registering:
  • BMW Group Enterprise Client with Windows 7 or 10.
  • Resolution at least 1600 x 900.
  • Google Chrome (Javascript activated).
