Objectives

The participant:

• Know the classification of the GS98000 in the other Q processes of the BMW Group.
• Know the structures of the qs-STAT software.
• Has understood the terms like random sample analysis (MFU) and machine capability analysis (PFU).
• Know which boundary conditions as per GS98000 are relevant for MFU/PFU.
• Has how machine and process capabilities are determined.
• Know how to use the qs-STAT software.
• Can use GS98000 to carry out an MFU/PFU.
• Can calculate the characteristic values of the MFU/PFU in qs-STAT.
• Can interpret the results of the MFU/PFU.
• Is aware about the effects of scattering in the production process and can prevent defects through analyses.
• Can interpret and evaluate the effects of incorrect measurements.
• Can support the organization actively to implement the new methods of GS98000.
