Objectives

The participant:

• Has knowledge of the main requirements of GS98000.
• Knows the classification of the GS98000 in the BMW Group's other Q processes and the structures of the Solara software.
• Knows which measurement uncertainty components are relevant in the test process in accordance with GS98000 and how to determine these measurement uncertainty components.
• Can carry out test process suitances based on GS98000, calculate the characteristic values of test process suitances in Solara and interpret the results.
• Can better assess application risks caused by measurement uncertainties and actively support the organization in implementing the new GS98000 methods.

• Creation of inspection plans and handling of files.
• Evaluation methods and graphics.
• Handling the VDA 5 Assistant.
• Determining the capability indicators.
• Evaluation of measuring instruments (measuring system, measuring process).
• Preparation of reports.

• Suppliers who work with the areas of Q specialists, planners, production specialists, test equipment officers.

Prerequisites

• To be eligible to participate in this course, you must have completed the following course:
  • Q-DAS Software QS-STAT and Basics Statistics (BIS_20_10683).
