Objectives
The participant:
- Learns how to use SAS/EPLAN to establish synchronization between a SAS and EPLAN file.
- Master the handling of the editor to be able to prepare the SAS file sufficiently for the software departure.
- Masters the SAS rules that are necessary for an error-free EPLAN.
- Understands how SAS works in order to be able to make qualified statements in the event of an error.

- SAS basic qualification.
- Overall view and basic knowledge of SAS and its functions, processes, and responsibilities.
- Handling with the SAS file.
- What has to be done for a valid SAS file?
- How can I import/export files from SAS to Eplan and from Eplan to SAS?
- IP addresses.
- Part numbers.
- I/O variables.
- Designations/names.
- Plant structures.
- Function texts.
- Robot applications.
Target Group
- Partner with experience in EPLAN project planning, but who do not yet know how to use SAS.

Technical prerequisites:
- Good EPLAN knowledge is required.
- Activated Yubikey.
- You can order Yubikeys here.
- The participants need their own laptop/work PC with the following software and their own EPLAN license:
- MS Teams.
- EPLAN license version 2023.
- Latest SAS version.

- This training is aimed exclusively at electrical designers with experience in the area of EPLAN project planning. SAS-specific topics that do not relate to the area of electrical design with EPLAN are not included in this training.
- No project-specific questions can be answered during the training!
