Objectives
The participant:
- Know the requirements according to the Hazardous Goods Act for the dispatch of lithium-ion cells and batteries (high-voltage batteries) and can process transports in conformity with the regulations.
Content
- Introduction to dangerous goods law.
- Organisation and responsibility.
- Special responsibility of the ‘Authorised Person’.
- Dangerous goods testing and classification.
- 38.3 Test according to UN Manual Test and criteria.
- Dangerous goods regulations for carriage by road (ADR).
- Dangerous goods regulations for carriage by sea (IMDG Code).
- Requirements for carriage by air (IATA-DGR).
Target Group
- Partners responsible for dangerous goods with written orders, e.g. in logistics, who independently plan or process the shipment of lithium-ion cells and batteries (high-voltage storage), e.g. pack, label, load or prepare transport documents.
