Objectives

The participant:

  • Knows the advantages and correlations of a model-based development approach of functions.
  • Learns the basic concepts of static functional architecture (Customer Functions, Logical Cluster, Logical Function Blocks) and their dependencies.
  • Knows how to use the basic functions of Magic Draw.
  • Understands already existing functional architecture models.
  • Can create and edit the functional architecture for a customer function.

    • Basic Concepts.
    • Overview of the User Interface.
  • Overview of the Functional Architecture Method:
    • Customer Functions and Context.
    • Logical Clusters.
    • Refinement of Clusters with Function Blocks.
    • Allocation of Function Blocks.
  • Creation of the Functional Architecture with Magic Draw.
