Objectives

The Participant:

• Is transferred from Blitz Qualification 2 or 3 to the new qualification level HV-1.
• Can manufacture/modify and conduct (under management and supervision) HV components/cables.
• Learn to work on high-voltage systems/components only under management and supervision.

Content

• Basics and structure of HV system Overview of HV components and functions:
  • Electrical hazards and protective measures + replacement measures.
• Who is allowed to do what?
• Organization of work.
• Management and supervision.
• Qualification.
• Component replacement.
• Handling vehicles/components and test benches.

Target Group

• Partner with a flash 2 or 3 qualification.

Good to know

• Since the high-voltage training program has been revised due to legal requirements (DGUV), the old qualifications (flash qualification) must be transferred to the new system (HV qualification).
• Do you have a Blitz 2 or 3 qualification and work in a high-voltage environment?
  • Please complete the assigned HV-1 Delta WBT (ITEM_46023) to obtain the new HV-1 qualification. If you do not do this, the Blitz qualification will expire on 30.11.2024 and you will have to start the qualification process all over again!
  • The distribution of the new HV-1 stickers takes place after successful completion and by presenting the certificate of attendance/certificate of the WBT via your responsible vEFK (or Manager).
• Do you have a Blitz 2 or 3 qualification and NO longer work in the high-voltage environment?
  • If you no longer work in the high-voltage environment and no longer need the qualification, you can ignore the assignment. It will be deleted automatically on 30.11.2024 .
  • Alternatively, you can submit a ticket via ITSD itsd-german@bmw.com and have it deleted.

• During the changeover period (until 30.11.2024), both the new HV and the old Blitz qualification are valid.

This training is a prerequisite for:

• HV-2 - Intro - Preparation for the HV-2 professional qualification (ITEM_46030).
• HV-2 Basic / Qualified person High-Voltage (ITEM_46025).
• HV-2 Basic / Qualified Person High-Voltage. Train the Trainer (ITEM_46025_TtT).
• HV-2 Advanced/Qualified person High-Voltage (ITEM_46026).
• HV-2 Expert / Qualified person High-Voltage (ITEM_46027).

Prerequisites

• To be eligible to participate in this course, you must have completed either one of the following course: 
  • Flash 2 or 3.
