Objectives

The Participant:

• Gets a brief overview of the BMW Group's targets for CO2e reduction until 2030.

• The main levers to reduce CO2e emissions in the supply chain are presented.
• The participant will learn why the collection of the data requested by the tool is useful and necessary for the achievement of the CO2e and secondary raw material quota targets in the supply chain.
• The different types of secondary raw materials and how they are accounted for are explained.
• The operation of the EXCEL-based tool Assessment sheet CO2e is the focus of the training and will be explained in detail. Afterwards, the participant is able to fill in the CO2e assessment sheet on his own, to assist in filling it in or to check its completeness.
• A procedural classification of the use of the tool in the enquiry and award process will also take place.
