Objectives

The participant:

• Gets a brief overview of the BMW Group's goals for reducing CO2e by 2030.
• Knows the main levers for reducing CO2e emissions in the supply chain.
• Learn why collecting the data queried by the tool is useful and necessary to achieve goals regarding CO2e and secondary raw material quota in the supply chain.
• Learn the different types of secondary raw material and their accounting are explained.
• Knows how to use the Excel-based “CO2e assessment sheet” tool.
• Is able to fill out the CO2e assessment form independently, assist with filling it out or check its completeness.
• Can carry out a procedural classification of the use of the tool in the request and award process.
