Objectives

The participant:

• Knows the cloud security at BMW.
• Develops an understanding of how to prevent and detect hacker attacks.
• Can identify the basics and challenges for network security, Identity & Access Management (IAM) and data security.

• Introduction to cloud security.
• Prevent network access.
• Prevent unauthorized access.
• Preventing data security problems.
• Detect security incidents.
• Implementation & Good Practices.

Target Group

• Partner who have a fundamental understanding of the Cloud and want to get further knowledge about Cloud Security, independent of any specific technical role.

Good to know

• Completion of XLAB - BMW Cloud Basic 1 (ITEM_36015) (Temporarily Unavailable).
• Ability to read and understand source code.
• First experience with AWS, including a basic understanding of AWS services (ECS, IAM, RDS, Networking).
• Prior knowledge is checked on the participant's own responsibility.
