Objectives

The participant:

• Has a deep understanding of the bolting process and its effects if ignored.
• Acquires knowledge of the system interrelationships VIP.Next, CATIA, PRISMA and QVIP.
• Can operate and use VIP Studs without errors, e.g.:
  • Dentifying upcoming processing deadlines.
  • Managing body configurations/ process partners.
  • Setting/ evaluating and publishing bolting requests.

Content

• Deepening the VIP process and its effect in case of disregard.
• Integrating the tool into the system environment; basic functions including access rights and structure.
• Retrieval of required data (including export lists).
• Administration (create body configuration, manage construction phases, maintain process partners).

Target Group

• Support plate designers and all process-relevant interface partners.

Good To Know

• Basic knowledge of the design process at BMW.
• Role-based process understanding as part of module work at BMW.

Prerequisites

• IdAS Roles:
  • PRISMA Basic Account.
  • CATIA V5 Engineering DE.
  • CAx castd primary.
